Art for Hero

On Saturday the 3rd of June, my good friend Kelsey lost her beloved Clydesdale, Hero, more commonly known as Sprooter, Sproot was only 8 years old and was such a charismatic animal, his personality reached far and everyone who met him, instantly fell in love with the gentle giant. Though he was insured, his specialist treatment has far exceeded his cover, so my sister Lesley and myself are donating prints of our Clydesdale related artworks, towards raising funds to help her financially, this will never help heal her heart but will hopefully help ease the financial burden. It costs £2 per ticket, just follow the links below or click HERE to go directly to the page and pick your numbers, good luck!

We are running this along side a separate just giving page, should the funds raised be more than needed to cover the excess, Kelsey will donate the rest to Grass Sickness research. Anyone who has lost a horse to this awful illness, myself included, knows what a worthy cause this is.

my donation is a print from my latest textile “The Honest Eye” horses have the most expressive eyes, add a Clydesdale to the mix and it’s a window to the warmest heart.

You can watch the making of this piece here

My incredibly talented sister, Lesley is donating this beautiful print of “Venus” a truly majestic work of art.

You can see more of Lesley’s work here

Thanks for reading and best of luck with the draw. I will draw the numbers on Monday the 26th of June at 6pm on a Facebook live link and contact the winners by email, there are some rubber ducky runners up prizes too!

Good luck everyone and a huge heartfelt thanks to you all, I know how much this means to Kelsey, he was her “bestest” Boy.
